 ‘Clash Of Clans’ Halloween Update 2016: When Will The Update Release And What Will It Include?

After weeks of speculation, Supercell finally gave its first real clue that the Clash of Clans 2016 Halloween update would soon release to players across the globe.  On Sunday afternoon, the company tweeted the hashtag “Soon” accompanied by a spooky Clash of Clans photo with the words “Halloween is coming” printed in the corner.

For Clash of Clans players, this message can only mean one thing: that the much-anticipated Halloween update will be rolling out in the very near future. Our guess is we could see it as early as Monday afternoon, though, Supercell hasn’t given any official word on when it will release.

Though the update has yet to arrive, leaks showcasing 2016 Clash of Clans Halloween content made their way to Reddit and the official Clash of Clans forums roughly two weeks ago. Among the content uncovered are spooky Halloween pumpkins, a shipyard shipwreck, statues, special character looks and more. Check out everything that has been leaked so far.

1. Shipyard Shipwreck :

Leaked by Redditor, Chief spAnser, the Clash of Clans Halloween update is expected to feature a Shipyard special event. The leaked photos provide a couple of different images of a ship – one that is a shipwreck and the other fully restored. Redditors theorize that the Shipyard event will likely be shipwreck that players will have to fix. Once fixed, some players believe the restored ship will function in the same way as the Submarine does in Boom Beach. If this rumor turns out to be true, players will use the restored ship to search for and gather gold. According to the leaks, the shipyard will unlock at Town Hall 4 and will cost 50,000 gold to repair.

2.Barbarian King Statue :

The Barbarian King is a new decoration leaked from the 2016 Clash of Clans Halloween update.-Reddit

The next leaked photo reveals a statue of the Barbarian King, which will be added to the decoration menu. It will cost 55 gems to purchase.

3. Red Event Characters :

The leaks also show an added Red Barbarian King and Red Archer Queen for the Halloween update which has Redditors guessing that Supercell plans to do hold a special red event again this year like they have in the past. The Red event is Supecell’s way of bringing awareness to HIV and AIDS  in collaboration with (Product)RED. Product RED is a private brand that was created in 2006 by Bono from U2’s and other philanthropists. (Product)RED has partnered with a number of companies that include Nike, Coca-Cola Company, Converse, Apple and more. Companies that support the charitable organization, help raise awareness by giving consumers an easy way to donate. For Clash of Clans players who made donations to the Product RED during the red event last year, Supercell offered embellishments for players’ Town Halls. If the leaks are correct, this year’s red event specials will include a Red Barbarian King and Red Archer Queen.

Other Clash of Clans Halloween Update Rumors :

Besides the Shipyard and the Red event characters, other leaks suggest that Clashers could see an Air Sweeper level 7 added along with an Air Defense level 9.

Here are the patch notes for Halloween update:

• Fixed a bug related to the army training drag and drop feature. NOTE: Old app version will have the dragging in training disabled, players need to update to the new version for the training to work again.

• Improvement: Long press on the Clan Castle troop icon during battle will display the troop contents.

• Change in Train Troops and Brew Spells upper left UI: Changed total troops and total spells training capacity counters to not display over-capacity anymore; previously they would display 0/480 and 0/22 at max level, now they will display as 0/240 and 0/11 (over queueing still works as it used to).

• Clans can now receive Friendly War invites even when the clan is set to "Closed".

• Fixed issue with starting 5v5 Friendly Wars when the Clan has less than 10 members ("not enough eligible members" error).

• Fixed issue when the Clan was unable to receive a new Friendly War invite when the old invite has been pushed off the clan chat and gets stuck.

• Elders won't see anymore the Accept/Reject button for a Friendly War invite in the Clan chat (previously they could see the buttons and tap on them, but those actions would fail as only Leader/Co-Leader can do those actions).

• Fixed showing the text "War win bonus" under a player name in the upper left UI, when scouting enemy villages during Battle Day in Clan War.

• Prices for buildings in the Shop are once again shown in red color when not enough resources are available for a purchase (used to be shown in white color all the time).

• Fixed issue with reloading Facebook pictures for friends, whenever tapping the Friends/Friend Requests tabs.

• Fixed missing "1d" text for the single Collector boost icon + fixed "1h" boost text appearing on the collector boost button when selecting a barracks/spell factory before selecting the collector.
